Diversity and Inclusion for Organisational Success

  • Mykonos
  • 9 October 2018 - 11 October 2018

No accommodation is included in the program participation fee.  You will need to make your own arrangements for accommodation.

However, we recommend you stay at the Mykonos Grand Hotel and Resort (the program location).  We have negotiated a special rate with the Mykonos Grand Hotel and Resort so please use this link  when booking making sure you mention in the remarks (this is imperative) – ‘Berkeley Executive Education group’ – so that the Hotel can then adjust the price, giving you the special rate agreed in their confirmation to you. Please note that the special rate offered only applies to the Premium Sea View rooms. If you choose to book a different room / suite  on-line, then the special rate will not apply but the on-line rate will apply.

Please contact us if you require any support in booking at the Mykonos Grand Hotel and Resort or booking alternative accommodation elsewhere.

There is no better locaton than Mykonos for a program on Diversity & Inclusion.  Mykonos has long been the symbol of diversity and inclusion, of tolerance and acceptance, free-thinking and open-mindedness.

Mykonos is, for the Mykoniots d’élection, an ‘affective’ community, capable of    keeping them together as a group while tolerating their idiosyncratic selves (Pola Bousiou 2008)

Mykonos lies opposite the sacred island of Delos, one of the sunniest places in the world.  It is believed that due to its immensity of sunshine, it is a place of high concentration of cosmic energy.  According to mythology, god Apollo was born on Delos and Mykonos took its name from the grandson of Apollo, “Mykonos”.

Ayios Yiannis, where our program will take place on Mykonos, is famous as it was the location for the movie “Shirley Valentine”.
